Last day in Cusco

January 9, 2008

We are back to Cusco where I would love to come and live, people in here are so nice and they are so trust worthy also sometimes is bad since they would let their store by it self while they go and get some change and you stand there for almost ten minutes trying to figure it out how they would leave you by your self knowing that they have so many things in there. At night I decided to attend with a some friends to a karaoke night, we thought that we would find more people in there in view of the fact that is a tourist area, but we were wrong we found our selves being next to some Peruvian couples that tried to sing in English and they were really good at it., another appealing thing in Peru is that you see a lot of couples that show their love by holding hands all the time and other ways. After the Karaoke we decided to try to go to different clubs which made it easier for us since in each they would give a drink for free and also the entrance free so you ended up not spending much money. The clubs play a lot of Argentinean and Brazilian music since the majority of the tourist come from Argentina and Brazil, they also play some R&B and Alternative music. Regards everything the clubs were interesting because you would not see the same way that people enjoys the clubs in Peru like in United States, they dance without stopping and they rather dance with others than getting into the dance floor by themselves, which in New Jersey or New York’s clubs you would not see that and also since the people does not drinks as much neither they smoke. You would see more tourist smoking than Peruvians, is rare to see them smoking. Now is time to go back to Lima which means that is almost over.
